This is the homepage of Brighton Judo Club. Our intention is to keep members and fellow judo players informed about our club and its progress - so any recommendations and comments would be gratefully received.
The Club welcomes any visitors to Brighton and Hove, whether in town just for a holiday or more on the longer term, studying at one of the towns many language schools or universities, to come and train at the club with our members and other guests. We have had many guests from throughout Europe over the last few years.
In the summer of 1996 we relocated to a newly refurbished club house that has a double thick tatami - handy for those heavy dan grades, showers and a well stocked club shop. Brighton is a great place to stay with a broad range of guest houses and hotels to suit every pocket. Members can always be seduced into the B+B so handy for those budget club outings.
The club has been supported by Army Careers. Why the Army? Well, judo is a sport that builds upper body strength as well as the lower body which is essential for new recruits.
